The regional beauty of the Ozarks lends itself well to an immersionary experience rich in culture and rustic in nature. The design of Indian Creek Lodge and its site amenities offer guests such an opportunity. The exposure and regeneration of a native Ozark landscape has defined a sense of stewardship and awareness in a way that only the experience can express.

Breath-taking vistas of the surrounding landscape and adjacent Table Rock Lake are the site’s greatest natural assets, and the master plan was developed to guide the siting of the lodge and cabins in a way that would celebrate this charm while remaining comfortable and accessible. Other goals of the plan were to preserve the quality of the historic lodge, create an identity, reduce vehicular impact, plan for growth, and identify future amenities. The result is a family-friendly retreat modeled after the great lodges of the Adirondacks blended seamlessly into steep hillside.

"A clear identity, aesthetic beauty and sense of place contribute to an experience that can only be achieved by working with, not against, the natural environment."
