For nearly 30 years, SWT Design has evolved into a true incubator for design thought, pushing the boundaries of traditional landscape architecture and infusing it with inter-disciplinary collaboration. Headquartered in St. Louis, with offices in Louisville and Kansas City, our practice is national with far reaching impacts.

As an intern, you will work closely with all members of our design team in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You will touch all milestones of a project’s lifecycle, from analysis and discovery, to design and implementation. Our portfolio is diverse, so expect to see a wide range of work, from large-scale planning efforts, to site design and detailing. Your efforts will be tied directly to project deliverables, including conceptual design, preparing reports, engineering calculations, and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency in GIS and MicroStation is desired, but not required.

• Demonstrated design intelligence for high-level conceptual thinking.
