In late 2021, SWT Design and our consultant team was selected to transform the heart of the Missouri S&T Campus as a new Arrival District. Envisioned as a campus gateway, the Arrival Court will host the new campus Welcome Center, providing potential students a window into the great myriad of campus offerings that distinguish a college career at S&T. The plan for the Arrival Court boldly reshapes the first impressions of campus and in turn, the City of Rolla, by creating a welcoming, inspiring signature outdoor space shared by the entire campus community.

The Arrival Court will exude a feeling of belonging and be both a recruitment and retention asset. This district will be the threshold moment at which potential students on their campus visits, arrive and fall in love with S&T forever. In terms of campus social choreography, the Arrival Court will become an outdoor living room for campus community. Events and activities will prominently showcase opportunities to engage in the campus community, thereby extending learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
