Big Cedar Wilderness Lodge - Long Creek

The Cliff’s of Long Creek is a multi-use resort on Table Rock Lake in Ridgedale, MO. SWT Design was commissioned to provide an overall master plan for the 27 acre property and provide an identity to the campus. When SWT started on the project, the property had 29 luxurious 2-story rental units with great views of Table Rock Lake. The rental units had very little exterior improvements and SWT Design provided landscape plans for each unit to have dense, colorful plantings for the guest to enjoy year round. Besides the rental units, there was no identity for the property and SWT Design worked with the client to provide a master plan to complete the rest of the campus which included a new entrance to the property, 4-story lodges, and several amenities.

The previous entrance to the property had minimal character and directed the guest past the service drive. SWT Design designed a new entry drive that meandered through the existing mature trees with a rustic style water tower as a focal point to bring you into the site. The check-in facility was also added to direct guests in the appropriate direction. The 4-story rustic style lodges will be positioned in the center of the campus and are designed to have expansive views of the lake. The master plan also added many amenities to the property which included a club house, infinity edge swimming pool and hot tubs, zip lines, fishing pier, outdoor amphitheater, as well as many other features.
